The PSSD-IELM Seminar is funded by the Faculty of Economics of Paris 1 Pantheon Sorbonne University and the Sorbonne Center for Economic Research and is organized by the research department of “Economics of Sustainable Development” in conjunction with the “International Economics and Labor Market“ department of the Centre d’Economie de la Sorbonne.
THE LAB - The Centre d'Economie de la Sorbonne (CES - UMR 8174) is a joint research unit under CNRS (Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique) and Panthéon-Sorbonne University authority, founded in 2006. In terms of the number of researchers, the CES is one of the biggest research center in economics in France. More information about the CES here.
THE RESEARCH GROUPS - Within the CES, the Sustainable Development Economics and International Economics and Labour Market groups integrate both theoretical and empirical examinations of key topics within international economics and human development. This includes areas such as global health, education, labor, migration, poverty analysis, globalization, and trade.
